Do you have part-time and short term assignments?

Yes, we have all types of assignments.

How do I become a speech teletherapist?

Being able to work independently is the key to teletherapy, therefore we require clinical experience. We provide technology competency training and video conferencing equipment.

Can all clients be seen via speech teletherapy and can it be used for all sessions?

No, not all clients are appropriate for teletherapy. Client selection is incumbent on the SLP. Additionally, direct contact with clients is also required.

Can I telecommute as a speech teletherapist?

Yes, this is an option after experience and competence is proven.

Who provides the teletherapy equipment?

We provide the video conferencing equipment for our SLPs, and in some cases for our clients as well.

What teletherapy equipment do you use?

Based on the application and rapid changes in technology, we have and will continue to use several options to best suit each situation.

Can you treat my child from your office via speech teletherapy directly to my home?

Yes, if your child is appropriate for this method of service delivery, we can connect directly to your home. Teletherapy can be utilized as an adjunct to traditional therapy. As needs vary, each case will be evaluated and determined on an individual basis.

Can you treat individuals who live out of state?

We may be able to treat a client in another state, but only if the SLP has a license in the state that the client is physically located.

Do you provide trainings and presentations?

Yes, we provide lectures, trainings, presentations, and short courses. Please Contact Us for more information.

Can you help me with specific questions I have about my child’s communication skills via email?

We are unable to answer specific questions via email. We recommend that you contact your school district or local university for assistance.

Do you have internships?

No, we do not offer internships at this time.

May I set-up a time to observe teletherapy?

We will do our best to accommodate observations while maintaining the privacy of our clients. Please Contact Us and we will do our best to set something up.

Do you provide CF and SLPA supervision?

Yes, we do assist with supervision and may also be able to assist via video conferencing (telesupervision). Please Contact Us to discuss your needs and to determine if assistance would be appropriate and possible.

Do you help school districts get started with a speech teletherapy program?

Yes, we provide a full range of consulting services to help programs get started. Each is specifically tailored to meet our client’s needs.
